Do we believe in equal society?

We believe in the constitution, we believe in religion though people still believe in caste after 65 years of independence, 62 years of republic.

We the people of the India Still believe in the caste system?

It sound like impossible to the European countries...But....

The truth is that people in India still discriminated on the basis of caste. There are fundamental rights, human right and various affirmative actions to eliminate caste system but those are not enough or say not applied with right attitude. Our constitution says we are equal but still the system makes it unequal no equality, no social status, Manusmiriti is still in the run. Varna system is discriminating people on the basis of caste.

I came along with the same incident in one of the finest university of India located near the capital of India. The student of the scheduled caste, the forth Varna “Shudra” was discriminated on the caste basis. He was not allowed to have food by above 50-60 student of upper/higher class of the Varna system.  He was not allowed to have food because he was a Dalit from Noida city of Uttar Pradesh while the student himself was a Ph.D. student in sociology.

The incident became more worst at around 3 a.m. in the morning some unsocial element of the upper caste people tried to kill him and broke all the window glasses, but the Ph.D. student just help himself out of the crises. The warden of the hostel was called but all went in vein. Next day the group of Dalit students were assembled in the front of the Administration office and asked that the action to be taken against all the people/student. Those are bullying them and tried to kill him. But the administrators seem to be fully caste bias instead of taking action. The Dean Student affairs tried and warned to the Dalit student that he will take the action against all Dalit he ruled on of the warden to write all the students names but this brought the Dalit student anger. They all asked the administrators to be ruined on the constitution all this was happening in one of the finest University in India. Even this University was founded by the Chief Minister who is also Dalit woman.

The culprits were localized from gujjar community and the people are known for the misdeeds. The Dalit student sat down and asked for the justice but nothing has happened. Now the Dalit student groups moved to the SC/ST commission so that they can get justice but the discrimination still exist. The modern India, New India the dream of developed nation is still far. The nation and the people need to be equal, need to be social as Constitution says. The Constitution of India also written by Dalit Dr. Ambedkar. The Nation wants a caste free society. Youth want it to turn it into Developed Nation.
